Boley Centers is excited to announce our newest initiative, The Firefly Project, which launched on January 1, 2026 and continues to grow every day.

Unlike traditional Street Outreach models that focus primarily on quickly transitioning individuals into shelter, the Firefly Project takes a deeper, more intentional approach. Just like watching for fireflies in the dark—where patience, stillness, and looking beneath the surface are essential—our team is taking the time to truly understand each person we meet.

  • We’re listening to their stories.
  • We’re uncovering histories of trauma.
  • We’re identifying the barriers that have led them to homelessness.
  • And we’re walking alongside them toward long-term, sustainable change.

In the coming months, we’ll be introducing a fully retrofitted mobile unit where our unhoused neighbors can access showers, seasonal relief from the heat or cold, food, clean clothing, and—most importantly—a safe place to begin healing and rebuilding.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to find their way home.
