We are so grateful for the generosity of the community who have helped to support our critical needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton!
Special thanks to World Central Kitchen for feeding the men and women living in our residential treatment facilities on Friday with abundant food platters and Carrabba’s Italian Grill on 4th St. N. in St. Petersburg for supplying warm and delicious meals on Sunday for people living in our group homes and supported housing as well as supplying meals for those attending our Life Enhancement Activities Program on Monday. All were without power and the food was truly a treat and so appreciated by everyone who received it.
Special thanks to BGold and Carrollwood Day School for sending an amazing group of humans to our Mary R. Koenig Center campus to help us clean up after the hurricane! These adults and students cleared all of the brush and debris outside, emptied out all of the classrooms that were damaged from flooding, and donated clothing and 100+ Lowes essential item buckets.
We are blown away by the kindness and support of our community and cannot express enough just how grateful we are.
