Registered Nurse - FACT Department

Summary Description: 
 
This RN works in Boley’s Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) department and is responsible for conducting physical health assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians and providing administration and management of medication in conjunction with psychiatrists.  Also, provides a range of case management, education, treatment, rehabilitation and support services to assigned consumers.
 
Required Education & Experience:
 
Associate's degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be a Registered Nurse. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.

Two to three years psychiatric nursing experience in an in-patient or out-patient mental health setting, working with SPMI clients or substance abuse treatment.

Knowledge of mental health counseling, coordinating home health care, severe and chronic mental disorders.  

Must have own transportation vehicle and current auto insurance

Certifications & Licenses:
 
Current RN licensure in Florida

Summary Description: 
 
This position provides daily supervision for staff and ensures the successful operation of youth program until 10/15/2010.
 
Required Education & Experience:
 
Bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation or related human service field.  No experience substitution permitted. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
 
Three to four years experience working with youth that are emotionally and behaviorally disturbed.  Knowledge of emotional and behavioral disorders, mental illness, counseling techniques, behavior modification, rehabilitation and treatment, staff supervision and management preferred.
 
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, automobile insurance and own transportation vehicle.

Summary Description: 
 
This position provides supported housing and support services to consumers residing in the community or in a permanent housing setting of a supported housing program.  Services include placement, landlord negotiations, financial assistance, crisis intervention and basic living skills training and support. Services are designed to promote independent living and mental health stability. 
 
Required Education & Experience:
 
Bachelor's degree is required.  Human Services related field preferred.  Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
 
Minimum of one year experience working with the severely mentally ill, community services and resources knowledge and experience with property management/ tenant--landlord issues preferred.
 
Must have knowledge of agency operating plan, budget and objectives of program, counseling techniques and mental illness.

Bachelor's degree with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major course work includes the study of human behavior and development) and have a minimum of one year of full time or equivalent experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness; or Bachelor's degree and three years full time or equivalent experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness.  Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
 
Minimum of one to three years experience working with serious mental illness required depending upon type of bachelor's degree. Must have knowledge of mental illness and symptoms, mental health system and supports, community social services systems.

Overnight Residential Technician

Summary Description: 

This position provides safety and security for the clients and the facility. Interacts routinely with clients and monitors medications.  Performs routine housekeeping,record-keeping, and other interactions as necessary.

Required Education & Experience:

High School diploma or G.E.D required.Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.  Six months of experience working in a human services organization.  30 hours of college credits can be substituted for experience. Experience working with and some knowledge of individuals with mental illness preferred.

Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, automobile insurance and own transportation vehicle.

 Job Title:

 Behavioral Health Technician – part-time: 20 hrs/week

Summary Description:


The BHT provides a variety of services for clients living in the assigned residential facility.  Services include training in living skills, transportation to and from activities, counseling, medication monitoring, and housekeeping assistance. 

Required Education & Experience:

Associates degree preferred.  A high school diploma may qualify with relevant experience.  Completion of certification as Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) required within time frame allotted per Agency policy.  Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.

With an Associate’s degree, must have a minimum of 1 year paid experience in behavioral health care.  With a high school diploma must additionally have 2 years of paid experience in behavioral health care.  A Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience. Knowledge of mental illness, counseling techniques, behavior modification preferred.

Valid Florida driver's license, own vehicle and auto insurance required.
